Biltmore is a combination of nature and decadence. This photo captures the garden in the foreground surrounding the elegant residence. When I think of "My Biltmore," this is what I see.

This photo embodies "My Biltmore" because it depicts a setting where the miracle of new life, the beauty of nature, and the vision of great men all comes together—resulting in an experience that never disappoints.

As a nature photographer, Biltmore holds a lot of photographic opportunity for me. My favorite spot is in the garden area where I can spend a day shooting at my leisure and trying to perfect my art, all while having fun. I would not trade my time at Biltmore for anything.

The garden demonstrates the formality and vision in the planning of the estate's landscaping, yet it's warmth welcomes each visitor as if it were our own backyard—our personal secret escape. The azalea blooms explode into rich color and fragrance that is a treat for the senses. A stroll through the garden is a momentary escape from the daily monotony into a delightful encounter.

This is my Biltmore—peaceful, beautiful, and inspirational!

Biltmore embodies the grandeur of a great man-made stone structure in the midst of the natural beauty of Western North Carolina. The spires of the home reach skyward, just as the branches of the tree, giving homage to God's creation. Biltmore also ties us to the past, allowing us to see through the eyes of those that came before us and continue to inspire future generations.

Sitting on this bench, absorbing the beauty that surrounds me, makes all my cares and worries melt away. Soaking in the history and the magnitude of the estate leaves me with a sense of awe that I have not gotten anywhere else. Biltmore is my favorite getaway and I couldn’t resist becoming a passholder so I could enjoy it whenever I want.

Meandering paths full of promise. The sweet scent that only thousands of roses can offer. And then you look up.
