- Create an original work of art. Bring a sketchpad and pencils, and draw pictures of Biltmore House, flowers in the Walled Garden, and geese by the Lagoon.
- Watch our blacksmith and woodcarver work at the River Bend Barn. See how raw metal is shaped with heat and hammers, and observe as our carver transforms chunks of wood.
- Get creative in the kitchen. Watch our Culinary Specialist demonstrate her favorite recipes in the Winery's demonstration kitchen. Get a recipe card and recreate her signature dishes at home with your parents.
- Learn what it was like to be a child in George Vanderbilt's day. Watch the video in the River Bend Barn to learn about children who lived and played on the estate.
